I’ve noticed this error appearing here and there in different plugins, and it doesn’t seem to have a clear reason behind it, most of the time it just fixes itself. Most likely caused by server caching.

Have you tried turning off all caching solutions on your website, whether they are plugins or provided by your hosting company?

Also, please attach a copy of your site’s System Status report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. Once done, please paste it here in your reply or via a text-sharing service like https://gist.github.com/.

What you’re describing is actually an already fixed bug. Here’s the PR for context.

This also happens if you tried to try creating an account by clicking the “finish setup” button, then declared the site as a staging/development environment in your wp-config file.

Seems like we’ll need to take a closer look to get a better understanding of the issue. Could you please open a ticket about this from WooCommerce.com > MY profile > Support?
