    Hi team
*( first : I already contacted Smushit plugin Dev – sorted it out. The below bug comes from NEVE. Proceeded with all plugins disabled and then switched theme to Twenty-Three = bug disappear with )

I use NEVE ( latest V ) – recent use and kept my dear Smushit plugin ( using it for years on multiple sites with other themes ) .
When an image gets smushed, the image URL gets a double slash like this
    wp-content/uploads//img.jpg

    TO SUM UP :
    – if I upload image. Path ok. ex : wp-content/uploads/img.jpg
    – I smush image : path gets a double //
    – uploads// double slash is happening in the srcset paths only.
    – Original img path is ok.

Using latest WP / latest Smushit Version / Latest Neve ( free )

***EDIT : I tried Optimole to replicate the bug and the // slash is gone on responsive image URL. Works fine.
    **** : I never saw such a behaviour of // slash 0_0

I don’t want to use other plugin to optimize my images.
Are you aware of this ?
    Thank you

    Hey @blue_life,

Thank you for using Neve and reaching out.

I have tried replicating this issue on my test site here – https://nutty-newt-nabe.vertisite.cloud/98-2/ but I was unable to reproduce this behavior. on

Can you please provide more information about this like some steps that we can follow in order to test the issue?

Some screenshots or screencast would be very helpful, also can you please provide us the page URL where we can see this on your site?

    Thank you!
