PIctures not aligning or covering up other pictures

  • I’m having problems inserting pictures side by side. I’m doing them individually and have tried left alignment, no alignment and left -right alignment and non seem to work. Once I put another picture underneath the 2 side by side, the new picture covers one up. I’ve resized in settings>media also. Is there a way to do a gallery insert and do only a couple of pictures not the entire gallery?

    adding:

    .aligncenter {clear:both; }

    to style.css of your theme ( for instance, after the other alignment styles) might help.

    i would not expect any, however, check for possible side effects in other parts of the site.
