Shop Manager can see but can’t save options

    Hi there

    I’m just testing the plugin. It looks good and the addon pricing is attractive as well.

    Shop Managers are users in the WooCommerce shop Manager role. These users are not admins/superusers on my multisite system. That is on purpose as I build the sites to be clean and easy to use, and importantly, hard to break, by shop managers.

    With this plugin, the shop manager role can see all of the plugin’s admin pages including settings and the addons. However, they cannot apply any settings, and of course, they cannot buy and install addons as that is my job.

    If the user tries to save settings, it says “You need a higher level of permission.”

    Is there a way to apply a capability to the role to allow them to save the settings?

    And related to this – If I buy any addons for the plugin, such as editing subscribers or exporting csv, then will the Shop Manager be able to use them or can only the admin/superuser do this as well?

    We appreciate your valuable input regarding user roles. Currently, only the admin has the default permission to apply settings due to security concerns. However, we’ve noted your requested feature and will consider implementing it in an upcoming version as per its feasibility

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I was looking at the addon bundle as well and it would also make sense to let some of those features be used by the Shop manager. For example, the CSV download, subscriber editing etc. Just the things that a non-admin shop manager would want to do.
