Theme files renamed by Pure Simple update results in white screen of death

  • I recently paid to renew my subscription to Pure Simple – from Styled Themes. When I “Updated” the theme, it gave me the white screen of death because the new name of the theme folder/files are not the same as the previous. So, it seems it does not recognize it as the update.

    The download is not “pure-simple” as it previously was it is now “puresimple-main.”

    Any ideas how I can get around this?

  • Your site works fine from my end.

    But if any problem persists, I’ll recommend you get in touch with your theme’s vendor — the folks you paid to renew your subscription. They know their product best, and they should be in the best position to help you use and update the product you purchased from them.
