Viewing comment count on category pages

I was wondering if there is a way to show the comments count beyond the home page?

For example, my home page: https://www.sheltienation.com, shows the 4 most recent posts then they fall off to their assigned category. Under each title is the “posted by….” and “# comments”.

Once they go to their category summary page, the # comments is no longer viewable there. Anyone know how to make that post count # show when viewing posts in the category summary?
