• Currently WP Super Cached pages are served to 99% of our viewers. We also make use of a CDN to serve our images, js and css.

I saw this service launch recently https://cloudflare.com

..which got me thinking, why not use a CDN to distribute the supercached static version of the page on a distributed network?

Any reason why something like this could not work?

Any companies offering a service like this you are aware of?

  • It could work, but permalinks will redirect to the CDN. That might make sharing links harder.

In the cloudfire.com solution the CDN is actually hosting the domain name and redirecting non-cachable content back to the site.. I’ll explore this a bit more and see what, if any, options are available. Creating a globally distributed cached site could really make a site “Digg Proof” ??
