    Hello,

    For an unknown reason, I can’t find this client anywhere in Mailchimp. In Woocommerce, the mailchimp_woocommerce_is_subscribed field is 1, the order is completed and the email address wasn’t previously unsubscribed in Mailchimp.

    Here is what I see in my log file (I replaced the actuel email address and the website address for confidentiality) :

    Hi @alexannee, it sounds like double opt-in may be enabled on your Mailchimp Audience, hence why this particular customer is in pending status. Double opt-in is a setting that determines whether subscribers need to confirm their email address before being added to our Audience. This helps ensure that only interested and engaged subscribers receive our emails.

    To check your double opt-in status, please follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your Mailchimp account.
    2. Go to the Audience tab.
    3. Click on the Audience name connected to our store.
    4. In the Audience settings, you will find the ‘Double Opt-In’ setting. If it is enabled, subscribers will receive a confirmation email. If it is disabled, subscribers will be added directly without confirmation.
    5. If it is enabled, the opt-in confirmation email must be clicked before they are added as subscribed.

    Hello,

    Thank you very much for your quick reply.

    Double opt-in isn’t activated in our audience settings. We get few orders a day and the contacts are sync correctly, but we encountered this problem only with this subscriber.

    We have the abandoned cart automation active, could it interfere with contacts synchronization? It is quite new, we activated it last month I think.

    Hi @alexannee, a few other things to note; not sure if it will help solve the mystery or not:

    • If for any reason this email address has been deleted from the Audience in Mailchimp it cannot be added back.
    • Lastly, Mailchimp will only receive orders from WooCommerce that have the statuses of?Processing,?Completed, and?Paid. If your orders have a status of?On Hold,?Draft,?Pending, or?Failed, they will not be synced to Mailchimp.
