I am attempting to install a WPForms contact form & it has not been functioning at all. I reached out to WPForm Help and they explained to me that the form is not working at all due to the fact that the theme is potentially not supported by Elementor therefore it does not successfully run JavaScript correctly. JavaScript is necessary to run WPForms. Is there any way to fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @galarza19

We do not support Elementor, as our theme is designed to be compatible with the Site Editor that utilizes Gutenberg. Could you please specify the JavaScript that needs to be loaded for the requirement? Given that modern browsers can render JavaScript, it has not been clear which JavaScript it is.

Hello, below I will attach a screenshot from WPForms & a video explanation of what the agent told me.

    screenshot of explanation from WPFORMS:

    ”Summarizing:
    – Elementor and SiteOrigin Page Builder are page builder plugins not compatible with your theme, that use the native WordPress Block Editor
    – If those plugins aren’t essential to you, you may disable them and use the Block Editor
    – a CSS from your website set your admin color to white, making text not visible to you
    – Please contact your theme support again and share with them the two videos I just sent you. That will help them troubleshoot your issue”

As advised by WPForms support, you could try disabling the page builder on pages. However, if you truly need it to be active by default, you may contact SiteOrigin; perhaps they know how to disable it on a page.

Could you create a new page like the one WPForm support made regarding the text color issue? I want to check which style gives that color.

Hello, so the text color seems to be functioning on my end so it is not an issue for me. As for the JavaScript needed for the WPForms to function correctly for my form, they said this: “WPForms depends on jQuery, which must be loaded before, and the main plugin file is the wpforms.min.js.”
