Assistance Needed for WooCommerce Issue
-
Dear WooCommerce Support Team,
I hope this email finds you well , I am happy user of woocommerce , my site url is luxedeals.online .
I am writing to seek assistance with an issue that I have encountered on my website related as I suspect to WooCommerce functionality. Specifically, on the product category pages, I am noticing the presence of a parameter in the URLs that seems to be impacting the user experience. The URLs include a “v=” parameter, and this behavior is causing some confusion among my site visitors , plus in google search console I get error because of this .
I have followed a guide that suggest go to woocommerce >> ?settings >> Default costumer location >> set as No Location by default .
After commiting this my url in my Home Page url as really removed the “v=” but only in the home page of my site it was luxedealsonline.”v=” and now it is without it , however it still didn’t resolve the problem when you go to one of the categories in my site it looks like this ”?https://luxedeals.online/product-category/cars-products/?v=88588bacf0da”
https://luxedeals.online/product-category/popular/?v=88588bacf0da
after commiting No Location by default it still happends .
I have gone through various settings and configurations within WooCommerce and WordPress, but I am unable to pinpoint the source of this parameter addition to the URLs. Given that this parameter is affecting the browsing experience of my customers, I am eager to find a solution as soon as possible , plus i get canonical tag error on google console because of that duplicate page ,
Could you please provide guidance on how I can resolve this issue? I would greatly appreciate any insights, recommendations, or steps I can take to rectify this situation and ensure that my website’s URL structure is clean and user-friendly .
Could it be related to that I have recently connected google listing and ads to woocommerce ?
Please help me with this
Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to hearing from you and finding a solution to this matter .
Best regards
