difference between views and templates

    Hi @webmark487 ,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    In layman’s terms, views are what the calendar looks like on the front end (i.e. month view, list view, widget view, etc.). Templates, on the other hand, are files containing PHP code and HTML elements that make up the view, and these files are located in the /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/v2 directory.
