What data does Cusrev collect on my customers?

    If I use the free version of the plugin, I understand emails come from cusrev.com. What data is collected besides the customer name and email? Review data? Product data?

    No, emails do not come from CusRev.com in the free version of the plugin. The plugin uses the default email address configured on your WordPress site.

    Emails will come CusRev.com only if you enable the additional service for verification of reviews. You can find information about the data collected for verification of reviews in the privacy policy linked from the main page with the plugin description: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/customer-reviews-woocommerce/.

    Thanks for clarifying about the emails. When I read the Privacy Policy and Terms, it reads as though the cusrev.com will still collect the review data from my website. Is this the case with the free version of the plugin?

    If you don’t enable the verification of reviews, the privacy policy and the terms do not apply because you won’t be using CusRev.com for verification of reviews. If verification is disabled, the plugin works as a standalone piece of open-source software licensed with a GPL license (similar to WordPress itself), and it does not collect any data from your website. The plugin’s source code is publicly available. You are welcome to inspect it yourself should you have any doubts.
