WP Login Replaced …

    I was about to buy the pro version when I realised that I can no longer login at the normal WordPress /wp-login. It redirects to “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=zephyr_project_manager_projects”

    /wp-login.php works though – wonder if that has anything to do with the latest WP Version?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting in touch, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

    That is really strange, as the plugin doesn’t have any redirecting features implemented and doesn’t have that in the code, and I haven’t been able to replicate this issue.

    Could I kindly ask if you could let me know which other plugins you currently have installed, which would allow me to install them on my local testing site to determine if this is due to a conflict with a plugin and to find a solution.

    I look forward to your response and finding a solution to get this solved.

    Installed plugins:
    Easy WP SMTP
    GP Premium (Generate Press)
    Loco Translate
    W3 Total Cache
    Zephyr Project Manager

    That’s alle. Theme: Generate Press.

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks for the response and information.

    I tried replicating the issue with this setup, but also couldn’t seem to.

    Could I ask to confirm if this redirect happens in an incognito browser or a different browser? Additionally, I just wanted to make sure if there was perhaps any custom coding done on the site that might be causing this?

    Hi Dylan,

    I have tried to login on 5 different browsers (on a MacBook M1) and using one browser on Windows 11 (Edge).

    There is a redirect like this: https://bestyrelse.sydstevnsenergi.dk/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fbestyrelse.sydstevnsenergi.dk%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    Fresh WP install with no custom coding.

    It works with /wp-login.php but not with /wp-login or /login alone

    Thanks for the response and sorry for the delay over the weekend.

    Just to confirm, when disabling the Zephyr plugin, does the redirect still occur or does it work then with the /wp-login and /login pages?

    I did not think of that.

    The problem has NOTHING to do with Zephyr ! Disabled the problem persists.

    Let me know if you come right with this and get it fixed. I would be happy to assist with it and do deeper investigation into the issue, but as I am not able to reproduce the issue on my end, it is a bit tough to do that.
