Problems using archival url as a "page" link

What I’m trying to do is quite simple, but has become quite the unsolvable chore. For my blog I have a category called “Downloads”. What I wanted to do with that was have a page named download that is actually the archival url for the download category. I have tried everything so far and nothing seems to give me the desired result. A perfect example of this is the website https://www.frontarmy.com, and their download section link https://www.frontarmy.com/category/downloads/. Is there anyone that can help me figure out how to set this up? all the items I’ve found on this site seem to be a bit too confusing to me.
