Change active field border color

Just setting up my first form in the TT3 theme, and the active field border colour uses the horrible TT3 bright green colour. I can manually change the border colour itself, but then it does not change to a highlighted colour when the field is actively selected.

In the context of the default TT3 theme, how can I change the field border colour when it’s selected?
