Meta description does not appear on the serp

WIth the Yoast SEO plugin, you can set a specific meta description for the posts and pages of your site. It will output it in a meta description tag in the page source.

However, it’s still up to Google and the other search engines if they’d still like to display it as such in the actual search results.
