I have a huge issue when I export my csv file.

Some of the fields appear as Field1,Field2 and some are “Field3″,”Field4″ therefore it’s making it like this : Field1,Field2″Field3″,”Field4”

it’s therefore mission impossible to configure numbers or excel to read the file properly without having columns shifting to the left or right…

If anyone could find me the magical solution I’d be forever grateful !

    Hi @alphamike2,

I hope you are doing well today!

Please share an export of the form with us and the link of the form page, so that we can check further.

You can find more info on how to export the form here : https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

After exporting, please share the code using a services such as https://pastebin.com or https://justpaste.it/ which is free to use.

Please always make sure to use such service to share the code and don’t post the code here directly as it will most likely be unusable.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hello,

The same thing happens to me when I export in .csv.

    1. Some fields are not located correctly,
    2. The initial field that imports “date and time” automatically, includes a comma in the date and that means that when you want to go from text to columns, an additional column is created that damages the order and location of the others.
    3. Some fields that are text are not marked with quotes and therefore the tool does not format them correctly.
    4. The field which is a box for long text, known as “text area”, when the user enters text with line separation and when I export this, the text is not saved in quotes completely, so it is divided into two fields or two columns.

    Hi @hakkanirudha ,

I’m afraid, this isn’t something we could replicate out of the box, so it’ll require more troubleshooting. Could you please open a new thread with us so that we can assist you further?

Trying to troubleshoot on another user’s thread can cause miscommunication.

You can use the following URL to create a new thread:

If you could also share the form export in the new thread, it would be helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Nithin
