Hello everyone and thank you for reading my request. I’ve been trying to solve this problem for months: I can’t activate my online store with Woocommerce. In the payments section of Woocommerce, by accessing the “PayPal” form of payment, I find this message:

You have PayPal vaulting enabled, that’s why Pay Later options are unavailable now. You cannot use both features at the same time.?

Click here to see screen shot

I did several searches with Google but I could not find any information to solve this problem.
    Thanks to all and greetings.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

The notification you are receiving, and shared with us, is correct. When you have vaulting activated on the “Standard Payments” tab in our settings page, the Pay Later option is not available. You can only use one or the other, so if you want to use Pay Later, you can only do this by deactivating vaulting (on the Standard Payments tab).

The outcome of this situation, is that you cannot use Pay Later in the case you are selling subscriptions, since you currently need vaulting activated in order to use our payment method for selling subscriptions.

More information on this subject you can find here. Please let me know if you have any further questions or if we can help you out with anything else.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello @reteinformatica

I think there might be an issue that you could encounter when you activate vaulting in an older version of our plugin and some changes might have caused a situation where you can’t change the setting any longer. Before you could activate vaulting when you did not have Reference Transactions active on your account, which nowadays is not possible any longer.

If you can’t see the options to correct his, you might need to reset our plugin to default options and configure it from scratch in order to correct this. You would be able to do this, by clicking on the “Clear Now” button under the “Connection” tab for the feature “Remove PayPal Payments data from Database.”.

This would set everything to default and deactivate vaulting as the default option would be.

Let me know if this helps you further.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi @joostvandevijver,
Thanks a lot for the reply and the pointers. The solution was the one you suggested, that is, click on the “Reset now” button.
    Thanks again.
