• The initial scan marks 657 media files remaining out of a total of 850 media files, which is strictly impossible.
It indicates some videos as unused while others located in the same galleries are.
Impossible to rely on these results to delete files at the risk of ending up with a site empty of all images.

    Hey there!

I totally get your frustration. It’s quite a challenge to cover every possible scenario of image usage, and there are countless out there. Think about the number of builders and plugins available and they way they are used and you’ll that the combinations are nearly limitless.

Your feedback is super valuable in helping me improve.

If you ever run into an issue, you can reach out to us directly (paid – more scanning features) or here in the forum (free – limited scanning). It’s that simple. Together, we can dive deep and figure out what’s going on. I’m always here to help and make the plugin better for everyone.

We’ve helped out individuals who use both paid and free. We have worked with small sites and big sites where there was over 35GB of images. We know this tool works.

I’m sorry it didn’t work out this time, but with a little effort from you to chat, we could’ve turned things around. Remember, I’m just a message away. Hope you’ll consider giving it another shot in the future. Cheers! ??

    Hi,

First I want to say that I tried a dozen of media cleaning plugins.

None of them were reliable and I always ended with a broken website. At this point I was wondering if Enfold could be the culprit I only use Enfold) and I gave up.

So when I read that your plugin was Enfold compatible I decided to give it a try. But sadly the result is as bad as the other ones.

I am not using specific images nor anything special. But when all images displayed in Masonry galleries (which are tandard and basic Enfold components), this is not the kind of Enfold compatibility I was expecting.

If you want to help le and show that your plugin works well I would be very leased to buy and recommend it around me.
But for sure if I need to check all the files one by one after runing it, I prefer to keep all the unused files.

Yep. So have we. We’ve tried plenty of them as well none of them worked well which is why we took this route.

We fairly confident that we can solve your problem. We have clients that use Enfold. If it doesn’t work, we’ll refund your money, no questions asked.

Just send us a support ticket directly from the plugin (paid) and my team will start the investigation and get to the bottom of this.

In the support ticket, you can provide us login/pass access to your staging site and we’ll get it sorted out for you shortly.

Ok. This is what I get with the free version.

How can I send you the admin/pwd without being public ?

    It’s not exactly that.
The standard version didn’t allow me to try the plugin myself except to see that it didn’t work with Enfold.
The author was able to clean up one of my test sites that was using Enfold by installing a temporary Pro version, but I was unable to do it myself.
And regarding the price they ask for a plugin that will be used barely once a year, it is just crazy. Especially if you manage a lot of sites.
As I told them, a standard backup plugin which is used every day and all year round, only costs around €100/year for 30 to 40 sites.
So it’s not worth it for me. It’s better to spend an hour cleaning manually.

Essentially, you are asking us to help you clean up your site that is using Enfold which has custom posts. This requires a paid version of the plugin.
You asked for help and we helped with a test site as you had mentioned and it worked to help prove a point.

Regarding pricing, what we charge is fair. See our response here on our pricing page. https://mediahygiene.com/pricing/

Glad for you if you are confident in what you are saying.
But the truth is simply that your standard version doesn’t clean anything at all and doesn’t allow the plugin to be tested. Why not offer a standard version that identifies and deletes, let’s say, 5 images in custom posts and for all cms. There we will be able to test and judge.
I have around twenty sites, no way that I pay you $480/year to use the plugin just once a year and then not anymore afterwards.

    Again, useless plugin.
