  • Hi,
If you are unable to enable the coupon codes feature in WooCommerce, there might be a few reasons why this is happening. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

    1. Check WooCommerce Version:
Make sure you are using an up-to-date version of WooCommerce. Outdated versions might have compatibility issues or bugs. If you’re not on the latest version, update WooCommerce and see if the issue is resolved.
    2. Theme and Plugin Conflict:
Sometimes, conflicts with themes or other plugins can prevent certain settings from being enabled. Try temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) and disabling other plugins to see if the issue is resolved. If it is, you can then isolate the conflicting theme or plugin and address the conflict.
    3. Check for WooCommerce Memberships Compatibility:
If you’re using the WooCommerce Memberships plugin, ensure that it’s compatible with the version of WooCommerce you’re using. Incompatibility issues can lead to settings not working as expected.
    4. Review Custom Code or Functions:
If you or someone else has added custom code or functions to your website, there might be something affecting the ability to enable coupon codes. Review any custom code related to WooCommerce or coupons to ensure there are no conflicts or errors.
    5. Database Integrity:
Sometimes, database corruption or inconsistencies can lead to issues. If you’ve tried other solutions without success, consider optimizing and repairing your WordPress database using a plugin like “WP-Optimize.”

Remember to create a backup of your website before making any major changes or updates. This way, you can restore your site to a working state if anything goes wrong during troubleshooting.

    Hi @noshad19

My website has WooCommerce memberships but the coupon codes feature is not enabled for some reason. I cannot enable it from the WooCommerce >> Settings >> General >> Enable the code. How do I enable?

From what I understand, you’re having trouble with enabling the coupon codes feature on your WooCommerce website. No worries, I’m here to help!

It sounds like you’ve been trying to activate the coupon codes through the WooCommerce >> Settings >> General >> Enable the code pathway, but it’s not working. Let’s see if we can figure this out together.

Normally, you would follow these steps to enable coupons:

    1. Go to:  WooCommerce > Settings > General > Enable coupons
    2. Tick the checkbox to Enable the use of coupon codes.
    3. Save Changes.

If these steps don’t solve your issue, it could be due to a conflict with a plugin or theme. To test this, try disabling all other plugins except WooCommerce and switch to a default theme like Storefront. Then, try enabling the coupon code feature again. Here’s a helpful guide on how to test for conflicts: ?? How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts

If you’re still experiencing issues, please provide more details. A screenshot of what you see when you try to enable the coupon codes would be really helpful. This will allow us to better understand the problem and find the right solution.

You can use https://snipboard.io to share screenshots. Just follow the instructions on the page and paste the URL in your reply.

Also, it would be great if you could share your site’s System Status report. This will give us a better understanding of your site’s setup and help us pinpoint the issue. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

If there are any fatal error logs, please share them as well. You can locate these under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you have that, please paste it inside a Code block in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com/ to paste it and share the link with us.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter. I’m looking forward to your response so we can solve this issue for you.
