• Hi,

I really like your plugin, especially the feature lightbox for already created galleries in the block editor and in the classic editor (since I have a lot of galleries created in the classic editor in my older posts). But there is a conflict between Lightbox and lazy load. It seems that when the lazy load of the theme that I am using (SmartMag) is activated, the lightbox is not loading on the galleries. I reached out to Theme support, and they replied that your plugin seems to add a link attribute such as “data-pgc-sgb-id=”cl0_1″” which is stripped in lazy loaded images at initial load. Also, they have reported, that your Plugin is having the same issue with other lazy load plugins. I have tested the plugin on my test website, with no other plugins turned on, and really it is an issue between Lighbox and lazy load.

Can you please help me with this one.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I understand that your theme (plugin) removes an attribute that is necessary for my lightbox to work, but this has nothing to do with lazy loading attributes. My plugin does not remove anything from the image tag in any way, but only adds its own attribute to form galleries and then create deep links for them. (No this attribute – no lightbox). In short, I can’t figure out how I can help you, because the whole problem is that your theme (plugins) removes the necessary attributes (for a lightbox).

    Hi,

Thank you for your answer. About your plugin removing attributes from images was information that I passed on from my Theme support. I only know that when I tested, even on other themes and other lazy load plugins when the lazy load is activated from the theme or plugin with lazy load the lightbox is not working. When disabled it is working OK. Can you please at least test it with some lazy load plugin like LazyLoad Plugin – Lazy Load Images, Videos, and Iframes or LazyLoad Plugin – Lazy Load Images, Videos, and Iframes to see what is going on?

    Thanks

    Hello,

why should I test some plugins and themes that do strange manipulations with the page code in order to solve the simplest task. A simple example is the Jetpack plugin (even the free version) activates lazy loading mode for images and classic galleries and does not remove the attributes of other plugins (which do not affect performance in any way).
