    I have had severe problems: rejection of page updates and loss of functionality in Shortcodes Ultimate for some months, and recently I found out that the problems disappear when changing to Twenty Twentythree (which unfortunately is not nearly as pretty af Twenty Sixteen). Now I have rolled the 2.9 back to 2.8, and at least some problems have disappeared. But rejecting updates of the theme forever and ever is hardly a strategy to follow, so let me ask: Have others had the same experience, and what is to be done?

    Hi @redaktoeren – that definitely sounds frustrating. It would be helpful if you could share some further details of the issues/things that aren’t working.

    Are they all related to the Shortcodes Ultimate plugin? Or are there other things not working as well?

    Hi @jordesign – Right now I am very puzzled. Shortly after having published the first question above, I found out that the problem now also was present in Twenty Twentythree; and this morning, as I checked the whole darn thing before answering you, I found out that the problem now had solved itself – also when I rolled the Twenty Sixteen forward to 2.9 again… So, I don’t know what the problem is/was, and I don’t know how and why it disappeared. And to the best of my knowledge the guys at my host’s support haven’t done anything to fix it. (In that case I would have heard about it!)

    Back in the good old days when we end users were all writing beautiful (at least sometimes) lines in HTML, you sometimes were actually understanding what you did, and so you could fix it. But now…

    So: Sorry to bother you!

    Hey @redaktoeren – I’m glad to hear that’s all resolved now – but totally understand the confusion. The fact that it has varied does make me think it might have been server/hosting related – or another plugin which was conflicting, and then updated with a fix.

    In either case – glad it’s working for you now ??
