I understand you’d like to configure the shipping rates based on the volumetric weight of the product/box, correct?
WooCommerce doesn’t calculate shipping rates based on weight by default. You can add the product dimensions in the inventory section of the product edit page. Some third-party shipping extensions will use these values to retrieve the proper shipping rate.
One example of this is the Flat Rate Box Shipping extension, which you can use to define fixed package prices. Depending on the items in the cart, the extension will present the proper shipping rate to display.
For example, if a customer orders two small products that can fit in the “Medium” box you added, the customer will see only the “Medium” box option.
