• I installed this plugin with Yoast SEO on a new WordPress setup. Activated Twenty Twenty-Three theme.

    I changed Jobpost Custom Post Type Slug from ‘jobs’ to ‘careers’ in the Job Board settings.

    When I check canonical URL and schema of archive page, it still shows /jobs/. This must be updated to whatever the post type slug entered from the settings.

    Schema: https://snipboard.io/AhPnI1.jpg

    Setting: https://snipboard.io/1Pqa4N.jpg

    Can you please help resolve this issue?

    @saadali2905 Thank you for responding.

    As I mentioned previously I created a fresh WordPress setup with default theme and only 2 active plugins. Simple Job Boards & Yoast SEO.

    Changed the Slug from settings. However canonical URL does not change.

    You can preview here https://dev.suposatech.com/wptest/careers/

    Please provide your support email so I can contact and provide admin access of the above.

    Hi Abhijit,

    Hope you are well.

    We’ve checked that the Simple Job Board plugin doesn’t associated with the canonical URL of a page. To investigate this further, we’ve created another page and checked its canonical URL, which also appears to be unrelated to the plugin.

    We suspect that this issue may be related to the Yoast plugin. Therefore, we kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please get in touch with the Yoast Plugin support team to help us address this issue.

    Feel free to contact us for any further assistance.

    Regards
