When I authenticate this is what I get. If I turn off Wordfence it works fine turn it back on and the authentication does not work.

authentication failed: WordPress ran into an issue. Error code 401: VERIFICATION REQUIRED: Additional verification is required for login. Please check the email address associated with the account for a verification link.

I press the link but doesn’t work. Is there anyway for it do disregard zapier and allow the plugin to work and connect?

Hi @jtc650, thanks for your message.

Do you have Two-Factor Authentication or reCAPTCHA enabled in Wordfence? I just wonder whether the connection only supplies a username/password combination, which could be problematic for authenticating the request.

If you check your Live Traffic page after one of these failed authentications, you should see an entry detailing why this response was given.

When clicking any Live Traffic line (or “eye” icon) to expand it, it will state the reason in red text. If you’re unable to allowlist the action, it’d be good to see a copy of the red text if it doesn’t point to something you can immediately change in your All Options page. Turning on Learning Mode while setting up a new plugin or connection can also help allow normal operations through as well, but remember to set the firewall back to “Enabled and Protecting” once you’re done testing.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
