Can you please guide me to link WooCommerce to my bank account so I can transfer money received from the website to the bank?

From what I understand, you’re trying to connect your bank account with WooCommerce so you can easily transfer funds from your website to your bank. Let me walk you through the process.

To accomplish this, you’ll need to leverage a payment gateway. Think of a payment gateway as a digital version of a point-of-sale terminal that you’d find in a physical store or restaurant. It’s a service that approves payments for e-commerce.

WooCommerce is compatible with a variety of payment gateways like PayPal, Stripe, and many more. But to ensure a smooth and integrated experience with WooCommerce, we suggest using WooPayments. It’s our own payment solution specifically designed to work seamlessly with WooCommerce.

Here’s how you can set up WooPayments:

    1. Go to Plugins > Add New on your WordPress site.
    2. In the search box, type “WooPayments” and hit Enter on your keyboard.
    3. One of the first results will be WooPayments by Automattic.
    4. Click the Install Now button to begin installation on your site. Once installation is complete, the Install Now button will change to Activate.
    5. Click the Activate button. After clicking Activate, you will be taken to the setup page to start creating your account.

After setting up WooPayments, any payments made via your website will be automatically transferred to your connected bank account. For more details on the WooPayments plugin and how to set it up, check out this link: ?? WooPayments: Startup Guide.

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

    Hello,
Yes, that is correct. My question was ‘how to link bank account and receive payment

Thank you for providing me with the necessary information, I was able to complete the setup process. I have another question – is it required to fill in bank account details in WooPayments?
If yes, can you please provide a setup guide?
If not, please let me know how will I receive money in the bank once a customer makes a purchase.

    Hi @nehajuwale

I was able to complete the setup process. I have another question – is it required to fill in bank account details in WooPayments? If yes, can you please provide a setup guide? If not, please let me know how will I receive money in the bank once a customer makes a purchase.

Thanks for reaching out with your follow-up question! I’m thrilled to know that you’ve successfully set up WooPayments. To answer your question, indeed, you need to input your bank account details into WooPayments. This is the mechanism through which you’ll receive funds in your bank account when a customer purchases from your WooCommerce store.

You initiate the signup process after installing and activating WooPayments. During this process, you’ll connect to your WordPress.com account, provide your business details, and add a bank account. We partner with Stripe for WooPayments, and this process happens through them.
