Installation with another plugin

    Hello.

    I want to install your plugin for comments, as I really want to try one of the add-ons. But I have a question.

    I already have one plugin for comments and notifications “Comment Reply Email”. What do you think I should do. Install wpDiscuz first, configure and remove the old plugin or first remove the old plugin and then install wpDiscuz.

    Please tell me how to do better so that everything goes well.

    Hi baf285,

    The correct steps you should follow are:

    1. Deactivate the plugin for comments.
    2. Ensure that all comments exist on your website.
    3. Install and activate the wpDiscuz plugin.
    4. Clear all caches before proceeding

    Can you tell me how to clear the cache? I’ve never done that.

    This depends on the cache plugin you’re using. If you don’t have cache plugins, just ignore the step.
