Too many redirects

We recently moved a customers webshop from hostingprovider. The new hostingprovider is using Lightspeeds server. Because of this we also installed lightspeed plugin.
The speed improvement is is significant. Tat’s the good part. The other part is users get “Too many redirect” notes on their screen. This is true for pages width /?gclid=<string> in their URL.
Pages without those URL’s are fine.
Since we use lot’s of marketing on this shop, when you enter the webshop via Google search, there is a big change users see the “Too many redirects” message in their browser. Result of this is no sales!
I disabled the lightspeed plugin again. Now all pages are reachable again.
What can cause this “too many redirect” issue when Lightspeed cache is enabled?
