Get rid of container overlap on masthead?

    Hi everyone, I want to know how to bump down the main container (.main.main-raised div) so it’s not overlapping the header/masthead? I see other sites without the overlap, so I know it’s doable, but cannot get any CSS code to work without removing the entire container. TIA!
