    Hi @dtyohermawan

    Thanks for using PublishPress Capabilities.

Here are 2 simple steps to do that:

    1. Select the role in the top left
    2. Negate the publish capability

Let me know if you have any difficulties.

    Please check this video: https://www.loom.com/share/710641ccf2484157af223677aae8fe2b

We test this using fresh WordPress installation and it works without any issues.

If you tried and your editor still being able to publish, there is possibly plugin or theme conflict there.

Hello, Thanks for good response to me

    Please check my screenshot below:

    https://prnt.sc/TBGnLON0-O6v

My authors and editors still can publish from there, when I tried the guide you provided, it didn’t work

Im using plugin classic editor for my wordpress.

because they spam thousands of backlinks to my site from there

It’s not possible to change the status through there: https://www.loom.com/share/4b7046a1023e4518a64394000da62c9b

This serves as a demonstration that our plugin restriction feature is operating effectively.

This particular issue appears to be site-specific, necessitating further troubleshooting on your end. You may want to consider deactivating other plugins or switching to the default theme as part of your investigation.

its worked, they can’t publish from ‘quick-edit’.

but when trying to publish normally its changed to ‘submit for review’.

is it possible to set too?

@dtyohermawan Set to what? That is correct behavior when it shows submit for review, meaning they can’t publish it

This problem, I just want the author or editor not to be able to edit via ‘quick edit’ when the post is saved to draft.

I don’t want this post to be a review.

Hi @dtyohermawan. Please don’t threaten bad reviews. The forum moderators here quickly pick up on that, remove the review, and close down the support thread.

Maybe your request is not quite clear enough. I’m reading it now and don’t fully understand what you’re asking.

For your Authors and Editors, do you want different publishing options for “Draft” and “Pending Review” statuses? If a post is “Draft” then can not publish, but if post is “Pending Review, they can publish?

Hi, I have no threat to give a bad review. Just want to ask about the features of this plugin. In fact, I am very happy that you responded quickly to me.

actually, I just want to remove the draft status. because authors can publish it via ‘quick-edit’ when they save it to draft.

while following the guidance provided from your side. it works fine, they can’t publish via ‘quick-edit’.

However, when I tried to post it it became ‘submit for review’ and this is the problem I mean.

That’s good to hear, thanks @dtyohermawan

Sorry, “Draft” is a core feature of WordPress. It can’t be removed without breaking the site.

The best solution may be to use plugin such as PublishPress Checklists which hides the “Status” dropdown in the “Quick Edit” area: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/publishpress-checklists/
