No results with Staff List plugin shortcode

    Hello,

    I want to search people created with Staff List plugin but i got no results.
    I have enabled the Inverted Index Search Engine and Expand shortcodes before Indexing switches.

    Is this plugin supported or is the error on my side?

    I have not tested with that plugin.

    Does the plugin save data in custom tables or in the existing WordPress tables?

    The data from Staff List plugin are saved to table called wp_postmeta so it does not created the new one.

    Then do you see them in the plugin custom fields option as shown below?

    If not then please check whether they are hidden custom fields or meta data.

    So, the custom fields was not visible for the first time, but after I removed the leading underscores in meta_key column, the custom fields showed up.

    But sadly still no records in search results. I also recreated the index and selected custom values.

    Edit: The indexed terms are saved in DB (wp_is_inverted_index) and are correctly linked to page/post.

    Please try using the Default WordPress Search Engine.
