• i found in Uploads folder some bits that probably belong to your plugin, in each of the wordpress where i decided to install your plugin… (iawp)

    Please could you give some more info on if these folders/files are supposed to be there?
    wp-content/uploads/iawp/

    I can see there 2 folders:
    – device-data-cache
    – template-cache

    <?php return unserialize('a:2:{s:8:"lifetime";i:0;s:4:"data";s:172:"Retroid Pocket 2(?:Plus|\+)|PlayStation ?(2|3|4 Pro|4|5|Portable|Vita)|JXD_S601WIFI|Dreamcast|OUYA|Nintendo (([3]?DS[i]?)|Wii[U]?|Switch|GameBoy)|Xbox|Archos.*GAMEPAD([2]?)";}');

    I need to know if this is because of a possible hack or those folders are safe to be there? thanks for your reply

    Our plugin is NOT hacked. This data is saved by Independent Analytics. It is a form of caching that allows the plugin to quickly recognize device types and improve performance.

    Could you change your review title and rating since it is not a hack?

    Update: Thank you for promptly updating your review. I really appreciate that. We will add a new article to our knowledge base explaining the nature of these files, and we’ll see if we can reduce it to just one file instead of a few folders.
