Unable to reactivate comments

  • Hi all,

    Time ago I deactivated comments because of spam.

    Now I would reactivate them, but if I select the option in the WordPress settings, comments are not shown.

    My doubt is that I did something at coding level, reading some forums or websites.

    I have Hello Elementor theme with the child, more Elementor Pro.

    Any suggestions to solve the problem?

  • You must first change the global setting under Settings > Discussions. However, this does not change the settings for existing posts. If you want to have comments on existing posts, you have to change the setting for each post. To do this, you have to edit the post and check the box “Allow comments”.
