    Hi,

So being a completely new website, I’m still trying to find if something isn’t connected or set up properly. I have also been reading from other users who have experienced the same issues, which is concerning as there’s been no real solutions found. Hoping some of the woo experts here might know or be able to assist a little. Thanks in advance.

First problem: Within wordpress dashboard, if I click on Woocommerce and then the “Orders” tab – which says 9 new orders, the page just refuses to open. It was opening a few weeks ago and displaying all the relevant information, however I can’t remember what I’ve done since then to potentially make it stop working. Eventually I get a return error saying “504 – Gateway Timeout“.

Second problem: woocommerce database won’t update, even after I push the “update required” button. Since reading a bit more, I found one person saying the SMTP mail plugin may be an issue, so have deactivated that, and now the database is opening.
Does anyone know why this plugin would be stopping the database from updating?

Third problem: <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>This is the big issue</span>. When a customer tries to purchase something, the wheel of death rolls around for a good 30 seconds or so, then returns an error as well.
Error: Error processing checkout. Please try again.

    Please help ??

    Hello @bleec,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Third problem: This is the big issue. When a customer tries to purchase something, the wheel of death rolls around for a good 30 seconds or so, then returns an error as well.
Error: Error processing checkout. Please try again.

This part seems like a conflict. Could you please try turning off all plugins except for WooCommerce, including the payment plugin, and then switch to the default Storefront theme?

You can use the built-in Cash on Delivery method for testing. Do you see the same error after doing this?

Could you also attach a copy of your site’s System Status report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. Once done, please paste it here in your reply or via a text-sharing service like https://gist.github.com/.

Look forward to hearing back from you.
