    Hi,

    We are using this plugin since 2016 and it worked very well all the time. Since yesterday we receive complaints from our customers that the posts that they have a membership for are not visible. They get an empty screen when they login.

    There is nothing visible in the error log of the server. Plug-in and website is completely up to date so this is a complete mystery what has happened.

    We have already adviced to use another browser or clear cache but this does not work.

    Could you please help?

    In the meantime we have checked the browsers and some customers can see their posts and other customers cannot see the posts of their membership. This is really weird….. We cannot find where things go wrong. People can login but then see nothing or they get a notice that they are logged in and can only see when their membership ends.

    After changing passwords people are able to see the posts again. What happened?

    This does sound like a cache issue. However it looks like the issue is resolved. If it happens again, you might like to carry out the following troubleshooting steps.

    An older plug-in on the website (not related to your plug-in) caused a critical error and crashed the website. Plug-in was removed and all was checked and fine again. Then came the messages from the customers that they could not see the posts but we could not find anything, also there was nothing in the error log of the website. What we hear from the customers is
    that the issue is with automatic login. When they login by hand on another device with their loginname and pass they can login and see the posts. When they login automatic (saved login) they have issues.
    We still don’t know what happened with your plugin….

    There is no caching plugin installed on the website.

    I think the corruption cause by the other plugin might have cause the issue with our plugin Simple Membership Plugin. You could try to reinstall our plugin if you still have an issue. Disable and delete our plugin and addons if you have any. Then install and activate a fresh new copy of our plugin and addons.
