• The link is just one example of all of our product pages.

Not sure if it was in a recent update or not but many have noticed that the text is butting right up to the edge of the content area and I’m fairly certain it was not like that.

I am having a great deal of trouble sussing out where I can add this in css to accomodate all of the places where this is cropping up.

Examples from the linked page: The header; ‘Custom Table Tops’, the text body, (which is a category description), storefront-sorting, and then all of the products below. No padding on the outer edge of that content area…

The only way I am able to make it appear that this isn’t an issue is to have the sidebar and content area all one color – but we don’t want that.

Would appreciate your help in this matter.

    Thank you,
    Table Designs~

  • Hi there @tabledesigns ??

Thank you for contacting Woo support!

Not sure if it was in a recent update or not but many have noticed that the text is butting right up to the edge of the content area and I’m fairly certain it was not like that.

I am having a great deal of trouble sussing out where I can add this in css to accomodate all of the places where this is cropping up.

I went ahead with investigating the source code of the site at https://tabledesigns.com/product-category/custom-table-tops/, and it appears it is utilizing a child theme. Below is a screenshot, for reference:

As the Storefront theme (linked here) was last updated a few days ago, feel free to revert to a previous version and see if the issue persists, or otherwise.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.

    Hi Pepe,

Yes of course I’m using a child theme – that is recommended when one is customizing any template right?

Fortunately, I was able to suss out the css that needed to be revised a few days ago & found the site-main css with the margins and padding stripped to zeros – and moreover it was buried and obscure and also wasn’t allowing an overwrite of this particular module of code until I used the !important; property. But it’s working now – so there is Peace on Earth once again.

    Best,

    Laurie for Table Designs~
