Alternative to Google Authenticator app (to enable the 2FA)

    Hello everyone,

    We are currently seeking to enhance the security of our website by enabling the 2FA feature in the Siteground Security plugin. However, we have encountered an issue as the Google Authenticator app is not available in China.

    We would greatly appreciate it if anyone could suggest an alternative app that we could use in place of Google Authenticator. Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello @mtdigital,

    There is a variety of applications that provide an alternative to the Google Authenticator app.

    While we cannot recommend an exact app, I noticed that Duo Mobile is also one of the most popular ones. Still, any of the 2FA applications available in your country should be suitable as well.
