Homepage is showing but I can’t access woocommerce dashboard or log in

  • My website was working fine until Tuesday morning when we tried to log in but couldn’t access any of the back end. We can’t navigate to any other page than the homepage, the URL changes but none of the page content changes. Has anyone experienced this before and if so how did you fix?

  • That is really strange. I have experienced this before, but I can’t remember the solution.

    The following tips therefore:
    Take a look at the .htaccess file in the root directory of your hosting. It should look something like this: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/htaccess/
    You can also deactivate all plug-ins as a test. To do this, log in via FTP and rename the directory /wp-content/plugins/, e.g. /wp-content/plugins.backup/.

    If you need help with any of this, I would recommend contacting your hoster’s support.
