    the .png says it was converted by a lot but still shows as .png ( I know this can happen under certain situations) but in google pagespeed the png takes almost 6 seconds to load. Its like its loading the wrong version

    The image should be reduced to 60kb

    Hi @rrestani,

    Thank you for your message.

    After converting to WebP format, your images weigh no less than the original files. In most cases and therefore the original files are used. This happens when images were previously compressed by another tool.

    I recommend you to try the AVIF format on your website. I did an analysis to learn more about the potential effects of using the AVIF format for you. Images converted to the AVIF format on your website will weigh 33% less than images converted to WebP only, maintaining even better image quality. This will further improve the performance of your website.
