  • Hi @flohaase!

Yes, you can change the language for the error message in weForms. Here are the steps to do it:

    1. Install and activate the Loco Translate plugin:?This plugin allows you to translate any plugin or theme into your desired language.
    2. Translate weForms: Once you have Loco Translate installed, go to the WordPress admin panel. From the left menu, go to Loco Translate > Plugins. Find and select weForms from the list. On the next page, click on “New Language.”
    3. Select your language: Choose the language you want to translate weForms into from the dropdown menu. You can translate either the plugin or its system files, but it’s generally recommended to translate the plugin files. Click on “Start Translating.”
    4. Translate strings: You’ll now see a list of all the strings available for translation in weForms. Find the error messages you want to translate, enter your translations in the box provided, and then click on “Save.”

Remember to backup your website before making any changes. If you run into any issues or have any further questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch!

    Hallo,

    Hi @flohasse,

Thank you for your offer to help with the translation of weForms into German. That’s very kind and generous of you!

We support all our plugins and themes translation through www.ads-software.com. To contribute translations, you’ll need to follow the steps outlined in the WordPress Translator’s Handbook.

You can find the translation project for weForms here: https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/weforms/

Just select the German language and you’ll be able to suggest translations for each string. Once your translations are approved by the German Polyglots team, they will be included in the plugin’s language pack.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance or have any other questions. Thanks again for your willingness to contribute!
