    Hi,
So I am the administrator of the server and the site.
And I am finding it impossible to reset AIOS. I am having problems with the brute force cookie feature. (I have already used the secret key and want to remove the feature)
I have full access. I can change and adjust anything.

I used reset AIOS plugin and that is failing to reset.
I have cleared all DB content relating to AIOS.
    Tables Cleared :
    options table
    user_meta table
    all AIOS tables

I have deleted anything AIOS from the .htaccess
I have deleted the bootstrap.php file
    I have cleared aiowps_backups
    I have cleared cookies and
    deleted wp_content->uploads->aios

And every time I re-install the AIOS Plugin it has old configurations.
I also tried importing a new configuration from a text file I exported from another site and that failed too.
I also tried clicking the check box in the admin panel to disable the feature and it never save the setting. Is returns a successful query. But when reloading the page the cookie based brute for protection is still enabled.

This is proving to be quite a mission and I want AIOS on the site as I trust it. And it has prevented many login attacks for many sites I manage.
However I cannot get this particular site to reset the AIOS config.
Please can you explain why the configuration will not reset?

I need to re-configure from scratch. Please skip the obvious things like enable and deactivate plugin and update plugin as I have already covered the obvious scenarios.
My only thought now is that maybe it’s file permissions which I will check shortly. But all other plugins are functioning fine. Please let me know what I am missing here?

Disabling and resetting all settings through the AIOS Dashboard also does not work.
It says saved successfully but does not set the submitted settings.

    Ok I figured it out.
    It was a caching issue.
When I disabled all plugins and enabled only AIOS the settings were reset.

Talks about checking the obvious, I feel like a clown.
Anyways problem solved. Issue was cache.
