Hello all. I realized that my Bing Shopping feed maps the fields incorrectly for a few products I have that happen to be regular products but that can be personalized.

It’s strange because they are created as any other product but the customization plugin has them identified as customizable.

See the last few products having all fields shifted and wrongly parsed/mapped: https://ibb.co/smmTypg

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @thedrap

    Thanks for reaching us.

It seems the values have been shifted to the next columns and this is due to the “” quotations inside the description or the titles which is matching with the delimiter. To avoid this, please, edit the feed and use CDATA as the output type of you description and title field and regenerate the feed.

But, if the issue remains the same even after changing the output type of the title and description field, please contact us from here.

    Best regards,

Hi Badal, thanks for pinpointing the potential issue. I changed the field output to CDATA as suggested but still didn’t work. The quotes are part of the title representing inches.

I will reach out at webbapick referencing this thread.

    Thanks

UPDATE: Since the need of having those products accepted with the feed I went ahead and replaced the quotes by the word inches and that fixed the issue.

Still I believe that it should be possible to use the quotes without breaking the feed.

    Let me know.

    thanks!
