• WordPress 6.3.2
    Basepress 2.15.23

    Before BasePress Activation:
Page Speed / Lighthouse SEO Score:100

    After BasePress Activation:
Page Speed / Lighthouse SEO Score:92

    Error Presented by Lighthouse:
robots.txt is not valid Lighthouse was unable to download a robots.txt file

    Deactivating BasePress resolves the issue.

How do I resolve this issue? Does the plugin need an update to address the issue or can I resolve on my own?

This seems to be a common error, doesn’t specially have anything to do with BasePress. May I request you to please check this guide and see whether it works for you?
