Featured image also shown on page

    Hello,
    The featured image is also shown in full in the posting just beneath the header. I desactivated all plugins but it didn’t help.
    What can I do to remove the featured image from the posting?

    my first 2 post were fine then I wanted to add another and had your problem. put the post back into draft to see where the problem is.

    Amazone2, thank you for your answer, putting back into draft doesn’t make a difference. Do you have your problem solved?

    Well actually, I had dinner and then tried again and now I only see the bigger image in the blog post link, not on the website.

    I didn’t do anything in particular.

    Now I have changed from ‘post’ to ‘page’ and the the featured image doesn’t show. For me it will do.
