Our users must first log into their account before registering as an affiliate right? I tested it, and after I log in and return to the registration page, the default fields to be completed appear as if the users haven’t logged in yet. Sometimes it works fine, but other times it doesn’t.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @henlau,

Thank you for reaching out! Technically, we do not limit the affiliate registration for logged-in users only.

Any user, logged-in or not, can register to your affiliate program.

However, if the user is logged-in, the user specific fields (username, email, names) will be automatically be filled-in with the existing data of the user. In this case, the user will only need to fill in the affiliate specific data.

If the visitor has a user account on your website, but is logged-out, they will need to firstly log into their account to be able to register as an affiliate.

A visitor that does not have a user account on your website will be able to register, but they will need to fill in all the fields of the affiliate registration form.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai

That is the problem, I tested it. When I am logged in as a user the (username, email, names) are NOT filled in automatically. What could be wrong?

    Hey @henlau,

Hmm… I’ve just tested this and on my end everything seems to be working as I described in my previous message.

Please try the following and let me know how it goes:

    1. Create a new subscriber user from your WordPress admin > Users > Add New. Please fill in all the user’s details, including username, email, first name and last name.
    2. Open an incognito/private browser window and log into your website with this new user’s credentials.
    3. After you log in, navigate to the affiliate registration form and check if the data you’ve added at step #1 is in the fields or not.

If you can share a few screenshots with the process, I’d appreciate it, as the can be helpful.

Additionally, if it’s possible, can you please also temporarily deactivate all the other plugins you have active. That would exclude a conflict with another plugin.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai
