Homepage does not display properly on Internet Explorer

I do not know if I will be able to fix this but any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. I was checking out my website on different browsers and it seems that the homepage does not display properly on Internet Explorer. It’s weird because it is only the homepage that does not display properly. The problem is that the sidebar seems to be too big and instead of displaying on the side, it displays at the end of the page.

Anybody have any ideas on what may be causing this issue? I thought that possibly, the cause of this was a plugin that I installed but I deactivated all the plugins and still the issue persisted. Now i’m thinking that a plugin may have left a snippet of code somewhere but I am not sure. Like I said, this problem only occurs on Internet Explorer.

Note: I was using IE 8 so I do not know about other versions of IE.
