Do I understand correctly that you want to change the background color of the mobile nagivation menu?

If you mean adding a cover image at the top of the homepage like in the theme demo, please check the documentation of the theme:

Hi yes changing background colour is correct.

I would also like to add the site logo to the top of the menu with the colour problem.

@savvasd You can change the mobile menu background by customizing the Navigation block in the header. You can do that using the Site Editor (Appearance > Editor): https://d.pr/i/EFTS7T

@savvasd Probably, you removed some elements from the header. Try clearing your customizations to get the default structure. You can do this from the page where you can manage All Template Parts.

I cant do that, I removed elements to get the site looking how I need it to look.

Is there no other way to do this perhaps with some custom CSS?

Hi there I am having difficulty customising the collapsed menu on smaller devices, I just want to add the site logo (chillichap) to the top of the menu.

This change implies some custom theme modifications.

You can try to add the logo as a widget in the sidebar and hide it on the desktop version, but most probably it will be displayed under the menu on mobile. Maybe you can tweak this with some CSS code.
