Software for Header image rotation

The Cimy Header Image Rotator has a security vulnerability released for XSS, and I would strongly recommend removing this plugin from your site asap:

I have been running Cimy Header Image Rotator on Theme Twenty Eleven for prolonged time. Which theme would you suggest running Hot Random Image plugin?

If your plugins, and theme are up to date, the theme doesn’t really matter.

I have 14 plugins running on Twenty-Eleven Theme including Cimy Header Image Rotator. All of them are up-to-date. I’ll retain Twenty-Eleven theme.

Steps to be perfomed.

1. De-activate Cimy Header Image Rotator
2. Add Hot Random Image plugin and activate it
3. Set up Random Image plugin
4. After finish and making sure the images rotating without problem, delete Cimy Header Image Rotator.

Please advise whether the steps are correct? Thanks

A further question, can I retain all images running on Cimy Header Image Rotator? If YES, please advise HOW?

All correct.

The Cimy Header plugin and the images associated with the plugin are completely separate.

You can delete the plugin without deleting the image.

You should be able to see all your images under the Media Library.

I have several websites still running Cimy Header Image Rotator for years. I’ll replace all of them with Hot Random Image plugin.

Cimy Header Image Rotator as follows;

etc.
10 images.

I’ll subsribe Hot Random Image forum asking how to add the images to its plugin
