    Hi,

I have added a Masonry Gallery Type in a single column configuration to a post and while it is working exactly as I want in desktop view, this is not translated to mobile view. Mobile view cuts off the images instead of re-sizing to fit into the container. I am using Generateblocks containers, which usually contain this kind of plugin, but I can’t seem to get control of this plugin in mobile view.

It even breaks the entire post layout and caused the menu to open out of shape in mobile view.

It seems The Images produced by your plugin are positioned [absolute] and have a width defined. Because of this, no matter what size or spacing I add to my Container, it won’t contain the Images.

How can I create a single column which is responsive?

    Thanks

  • Hi @troyw2015,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Please go to your gallery > edit it > go to the Responsive tab > enable Custom Responsiveness > and select the number of columns you want displayed on tablet and mobile > save. This should fix it.

    Warmly,

    Mihaela

    Hi Miha,

All the responsive settings are set to 1 column and it still fails to contain the image when in mobile view. If you go into mobile view, you will see that the all the images are bigger than the screen, thus breaking the entire page.

I am using Masonry and selecting the Column Type ‘One Column’.

    The Width is set 1000px

Image Size is ‘Custom’ (tried other settings and doesn’t work).

    Image Dimensions is 1000px width

    Crop Images is off.

Still the images are not contained in mobile view?

    All good, issue is resolved.

I have set Width to 100% and Image dimensions to full and it now works. Seems I can’t define the width as that breaks it, but I can live with this.

    Thanks
