• //* If you stop paying for updates their plugins stop working.

    Update:

In this case (albeit repeatedly) the plugin did not behave as expected.
Still not sure how or why this problem crops up… at the end of the day they made the effort and took care of the issue.

Hi @seanvdmn, I’m not sure what you mean. Posts Table with Search & Sort is a free plugin? There is no payment involved? ??

If you are referring to our Pro plugin (which is not available here), then the plugin will continue working even after the license has expired.

No, it doesn’t, go check your support emails for the thread I sent from over a year ago informing you of this problems and it still happening.

Thanks Sean, I’ve reviewed all the support emails and checked your license key. Although your license key has expired, the plugin (WooCommerce Product Table in this case) should continue to work as normal. When we test your license key from our end, we are unable to reproduce the problem you’re experiencing. We see the correct “your license has expired” message and on the front-end all product tables are displayed correctly. I’ve also tested this in several other plugins and all work in the same way.

Although it doesn’t appear this way, I can assure you that our plugins are designed to continue working after a license key has expired. There is an explicit check for expired licenses in the plugin to account for this.

However, I understand this isn’t working for you. I’ve spoken with our support team and they will be extending your license free of charge so you can continue to use the plugin. They will be in touch shortly.

Thank you for resolving this. It’s never fun when these unexpected issues pop and threaten to upend an already packed schedule.

No problem, I’m sorry for the hassle caused by this. I’m going to look into it further to see if I can work how why you were effectively getting the “license disabled” behaviour instead of “license expired”. Thank you for amending the review.
